isn't it supposed to be "catch"?

swings yesterday

Our daughter, the good puppy...

besides getting tossed objects, she's also getting really funny about "placing" things. She'll put magazines back (sometimes) on the table after she's tossed em off, she'll put books on the shelf, and she'll put (everything, including our shoes, milk cup, crackers...) in her new awesome toy box!

Oh, and thanks to Auntie Kristy and Uncle Bill (who came and assembled it last Sunday too) for the toy box! It's really perfect, and has a safety hinge that makes it easy for E to open.

Gram sent her more books to chew on--I mean read, and she just is getting more and more into those and her puzzle pieces. She likes to slap the pieces together like a cheap set of cymbals. They bang on everything too. All she needs is a wooden hammer-peg set. I know, they abound in plastic, but doesn't everyone remember how much more satisfying wood noises are than the flat smacksmack of plastic?

As for eating, always a challenge. For the Food/Weather ReportDates are "num num" and strawberries are fading a bit. Goldfish crackers are on the downward spin, with new EarthsBest ABC cracker things a new hit (prolly cuz they are ridiculously overpriced).
Just tried, with Gram's coaching, chocolate milk. It's still up for debate, but so far the 4 sips are the most non-boob milk she's had since I've been home. Water is a win, but we can't fill up on that! Oh, and ice cream. She had some nummy stuff last night with me, and would likely eat an entire container of Rocky Road. I can hear the doc "how did she go from 16.75 lbs to 38 lbs in one month?? And why are her new teeth falling out???!" ...

  1. Uncle Eric will be proud - he's all about the Rocky Road! :)
