wearing the helmet has become a fun little game. I don't mind--wish she could wear it all the time! This planet is pointy! (especially my teeth, as she is wont to bang up into my face a lot)

busy here, what with the weaning, D home more for a bit, and school...meanwhile Miss Emelia is expanding her wakefullness. In other words, she ain't been sleeping.

Life goes on, however, and the cuteness continues. E is getting better at recognizing words and trying the first syllable of too many to count. Not worried; I'm sure E will out talk us all soon enough.

Today, we took an excursion to Babies R Expensive to get toys to challenge her more--a rider car, blocks, and refridge letters. More plastic than I ever wanted! But...it's a small price for the amount of use ME should get out of it all.

A bit too tired at the mo' to travel down more recent memories...there was a Grand visit or two in there (around the 1st), much abusing of the couch, running on the sidewalks, getting another vac, taking pictures on my phone/camera, combing hair, brushing and not brushing teeth, fluffy pjs, meowing at the cats...some sleepless nights, napping and not, but really?
